Get Your ID Card

Help us go green. Producing less plastic and paper helps our environment. We encourage students to print your Aetna medical insurance card via the form below or access your digital ID card on the Aetna Health^SM app, as Aetna is no longer issuing plastic or paper member ID cards and sending them in the mail for the majority of Student Health clients.

Please complete the fields below in the indicated format to access your Aetna insurance program identification card, which you may print. Please be sure that the Student ID number (PUID) and date of birth you enter are the same as those on file with Princeton University.

For the Student ID number, If you were on the Student Health Plan for 10/11 and prior add a “1” before your PUID. All others add a “0” before your PUID.

You may also download your ID Card to your Smartphone by downloading the Aetna Mobile App by visiting www.aetna.com/mobile.

Plastic ID cards will not be mailed to you, unless requested. To request a plastic ID card be mailed for you and/your covered dependents, please request one by calling Customer Service at 1-877-437-6511 (TTY: 711) or logging on through Your Member Website.

Please allow 5-7 days following your enrollment to access your ID card online or on our mobile site. You will not receive a card in the mail.

You will not be able to print your card until your plan’s effective date.
