It was bigger by 3/4 inch in length. It wasn’t level. Was higher on one side and lower on the other. Had to be filed down to fit. So disappointed in the quality for for the price. Surprised Koehler would pass inspection on it. Afraid to reorder and have it be the same. Had a car body shop file it to fit in.

High Quality ... As experienced homeowner installer ... it is a alcove install ... know the right studding arrangement to make this efficient to put into place. Some tips: need 2 people to position into place, make sure the flange is flush to the wall studding, I slightly counter sunk the flange fiberglass for mounting, predrilled and then mounted with galvanized/AL screws to the studding, will need to add latts or shimming to keep wall as same elevation due to thickness of flange, use thinnest or mortar base to level and add support under the base...very important. Use high quality silicone/sealant between base and finished tile surface is installed ... I still experienced minor flexing ... mostly squeaks, but after sealing around base with silicone and mounting shower doors, all was great. For the price, this is one of the best designs I could find in both quality and installation.

What a beautiful shower with seat. We are very pleased with our purchase.
I must comment again after using my shower I have one suggestion, it would be nice for the shower seat to have a non slip surface. The seat is very slippery and being disabled makes me uneasy sitting on the seat. I do put a hand towel down to sit on but it would be nice if a non slip surface was built in.
