So to start this review. I am new to collecting Lightning Collection. I've heard mixed things from video reviews as well as from people online. I missed out on getting some of the MMPR Figures and could not find a MMPR Blue ranger, till this showed up in my recommended. I will admit I Paid a little more then I really should of (Around 42$ with taxes) and I won't lie. I was heavily worried from everything I had heard.
This figure is great! It looks like David Yost, and the Morpher.. That was the big reason I bought this figure. However it does have some flaws.. The hinges on the legs scare me and they are already a little loose. But this from my understand is a flaw in the newer figures. Some have it. Some don't. The neck also scares me because the first time removing the helmet and applying the Billy head, I legit thought I was gonna break it cause it was hard to remove. Thankfully no breaks.
I've collected Hasbro's other figure series, Marvel Legends, and I've know them (Along with other figures from different companies) to have really tight ankle joints and well. This figure is no different. The Ankle joints with the pivot are really tight, and again. I worry I am gonna break it. However again no breaks. The changeable hands are also really tight, but I got them off with no issue.
My figure had everything with it thankfully, I've heard stories of missing pieces from these figures, but thankfully mine seems to be fine. The figure is great despite me being a scaredy cat and worrying i'm gonna break it. The box however was a little damaged when it arrived but thankfully it the figure was fine. it was only minor box damage really.
As a New collector. I am very pleased with this purchase and while I do feel I spent a little more then I should of, and am a little scared I might break certain pieces. I can't stop loving this guy. As the first of the remastered figures I've gotten. This is a great start. And I've never had a full team of the Original team as a kid. That will be changing as I have ordered the Yellow and Black ranger, and preordered the Pink, Red and green. Looking forward to having the full team and posing them.
I highly recommend this figure to collectors and even kids. This is a great gift for a child, even if they may not know MMPR, but have seen the newer seasons. However because of the small pieces, these should not be given to really young children who might stick the hands, heads or other accessories in their mouths. Still. if you are a fan of MMPR and are a collector or have a kid of your own you plan to show them the series. I say get em these remasters. But make sure they are at a decent price. Don't over spend.

Billy was always one of my favorite of the original Power Rangers when I was growing up. So I love this figure! The articulation, paint apps, and multiple accessories are just perfect.

Some figures limbs are loose but these figures are awesome.

Highly anticipated piece but rather disappointed with poor qc of product

The paint job is really a sloppy one, can see the white part bleeds out into the blue area, also some parts have the traces of touch up white paint which looks obvious in hand.
The most disappointing part is the poorly assembled right elbow joint, it feels very flimsy & loose, the right knee joint has similar issue, it does not feel like a brand new figure to be honest.
I hope hasbro factory of vietnam did not actually repackaged unboxed unit to be sold as a new one to end consumers, this is being sold at a higher price point than retail of 33.90. Honestly it should not be sold at such price for the somewhat inferior quality.
Fortunately it can be returned & now i have to figure out another way to buy this again😔
