Meet Evelyn, my '87 Park Avenue

Yeah, so I name my cars... This is what it looks like all cleaned up. as of January 2001, it has 137,000 on it. I've driven it from York, PA to Indianapolis Indiana, South Carolina 5 times, and all over Pennysylvania. I now use it to commute to college every day, so i'll be racking up even more miles! Mods: matching Buick burgandy T-type style steering wheel replaces that spindly grandma steering wheel. T-rated Bridgestone tires, a size wider than stock, mounted on vintage 1987 Kelsey Hayes aluminum rims. Drop-in K&N air filter Mobil 1 synthetic oil. always. GM/Delco concert sound stereo cassette, with 5 band equalizer, w/cassette search. (replaced non-cassette factory radio) Future mods: dual outlet exhaust (muffler is mounted transverse under the trunk, a muffler designed for a '88 6 cyl Camaro has inlet on one side, outlet on both sides, will be an easy swap, and will look factory. Dynomax Catalytic converter also on tap. paint job. I just got my HVLP gun, and am itching to spray some of Dupont's finest Dark Garnet Metallic on my buick. Funny Buick story: Hyundai merged into my lane the other day, while I was still occupying it. I hit the brakes, but not soon enough, back of the Hyundai Elantra hit the front fender of the Buick. mashed up the Hyundai pretty bad (quarter panel, bumper cover, hubcap),but only scratched the trim around the wheel opening, and scuffed a tire on the buick. Score one for the domestics!! HYUNDAI = Hope You Understand Nothing's Driveable And Inexpensive.

How i found it

This is my 1987 as I bought it in March 1999, with 103,000 miles on it. I bought it from an elderly couple for $2500.
