Washing the Mythos Black audi
My Mythos Black RS3 seems to show dirt on the body extremely easily. Anyone have luck finding a great way to wash their car and a good wash/wax?

The ceramic coatings really help, here is an SQ5 although this may be Brilliant Black, . The ceramic really repels stuff and helps keep the car shine even when its dirty. If you really want to spend the money, a full paint correction, ceramic coat, and detail will go a long way.

If you don’t go the ceramic coating route, imvest in optimum no rinse car wash and shine (or some other waterless wash), and a bunch of good quality micro fiber cloths.
I had a brilliant black A5 that was simply gorgeous when clean, ‘when’ being the operative word. It was nasty to keep clean, and I mini/quick detailed it with optimum no rinse twice, sometimes 3 times a week for the entire time I owned it. I will never, ever buy a black car again.

I have a brilliant black 2017 S3, and what works best is, (yes its cheap, but it works), turtle wax carnuba spray cleaner wax. With a microfiber towel, it does not scratch the paint, and you can do it between washes. Its a detail spray, but I only use it if I have dust on it, not if my S3 needs to be washed. After each wash, and dry, I then go over the whole car and it looks fantastic. Then I use Renny Doyle double black beadmaker. Also a spray on. Its like a ceramic coating. Very easy to do on a clean car, and my S3 does not attract the dirt as much. Good luck!
Having said that, this is my last black car!
