Anyone else like these OEM 18" wheels? I was thinking about RS6 reps or VMR's but after looking at these I want them! They don't look that small on the car even though they are 18"?

I like them. I've seen them around a bunch on other cars. Not as exclusive as I wanted but I wouldn't be unhappy with them. I love the ones I have, however.

I personally really like 5-spoke wheels. A lot of ppl think 18" is too small for the B8 but I think they look great when the car is lowered (as long as it's a wheel design that doesn't have a lip).

Updating since the ever so sexy Meteor Gray B8 is becoming a collectors item (supposedly not offered for 2012). plus this thread was really useful in helping to steer me toward this color for my own ride - lovin it!

Nice. I only have 18's. But I am happy with them, might lower the car slightly. Do you think lowering using OE sport springs without changing the dampers will be ok?

Yes you can do this, it'll be slightly harder on your shocks and you'll need to replace them eventually with a set which matches the springs. I've been running just springs for over a year with no issues.

Ok thanks for the info. Is the ride noticibly harsher than oem?

If you stick with 18's then it won't be too bad. If you change to 19's like I did with lowering springs you will definitely notice a harsher ride over road imperfections. I eventually changed my shocks to Koni Sports and it is a bit better but still stiffer that OEM. I am used to it now and the handling benefits outweigh the cons of a harsher ride.
