Proud new owner of an 08 Avus Silver with silver interior

So about two weeks ago I purchased a 08 RS4 with 79k miles, one owner, all the records and
services/recalls (no carbon cleaning, should be getting it done in the next couple of weeks) up
in Mass. I absolutely love the car, puts a smile on my face every time I drive it which is rare.

First things first will be a couple body touch ups and some carbon cleaning.

Congrats! I actually considered that very car for a bit - a fantastic example. Although, I bet you'll be buying new floor mats sooner than later.

haha yea floor mats were part of the deal. Any reason you didn't go with the car?

No fault of the car - I think you got a great one. The one-owner history was a big plus for sure. BTW, I don't know how much the seller told you about the previous owner but he traded that RS4 in for a RS5 and apparently regrets it to this day. They're now trying to source a TTRS for him!

Out curiosity, where do you plan to get a carbon clean in Mass?

Yea I was actually able to get in touch with the old owner and he was really helpful with getting me all of the records. He was saying he kind of wishes he held onto the car because the RS5 just didn't do it for him. Personally I hated the dealer and was nothing but a hassle (Audi Shrewsbury). Nothing but false promises and lies but I still feel I walked out making out pretty good.

I'm actually located on Long Island so I will most likely be going to Elite Motorsports out on the Island

I'm such a slacker... I've had my Daytona Gray '07 for almost a month and I've only taken a couple of crappy cell phone pictures. Maybe this weekend I'll get a chance to get take some good photos.

I drove a 2012 Ibis White RS5 at a dealer in Sacramento and while the car is as gorgeous as heck in and out it just didn't stir the soul on the road. Looks like Audi has failed to bottle the real performance car magic post this B7 RS4...well maybe the R8, but its so totally impractical for normal use.

Hey welcome to the club, Avus is most underrated colour and pics just cannot capture how good they look, especially in low light scenes
My advice to make it pop it make the wheels titanium, just sets the package off really well
