Difference between S-Line and Non S-Line

Hey guys so I just sold my 2006 a6 3.2 litre and am upgrading to a 2006 a6 4.2 litre s line, the dealer says its sline but I only see one badge that says s-line and that's on the grill, any other difference I should see ? What other options does the s line have over a non s-line 4.2. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Interior wood trim is distinctive, seats have larger side bolsters, grille has more prominent vertical bars, trunk lid has 'crease spoiler', sits a little lower because of suspension

I think the kick plates on the sills when you open the door should also say s-line on them.

ive wondered the same thing since I bought mine. i dont believe the car was listed as an s-line, but my grille is the only place that has an "s-line" badge. im under the impression that "s-line" is the designation they give to any car that isnt a "quattro", but i may be wrong.

Bumpers grille, door sills, suspension. That's pretty much it. At least on the 2007 4.2

From the Audi press release (for year 2006)

"To up the ante in driving dynamics, Audi is now offering an S-Line package with appearance and hardware items for a specifically more dynamic driving experience. This package includes a number of exterior elements including a distinctive front grille with S-line badge, aluminum door sills with S-line badges, S-line front and rear bumpers and 18-inch 5-arm quattro GmbH wheels with 245/40 R18” summer performance tires. When equipped with this package, the standard wood trim in the A6 will be replaced with an elegant gray birch wood trim. A Misano red exterior is now available for the A6 but only on S-line equipped cars."
