Jeep 75th Anniversary Edition Lineup
Earlier this year, Jeep announced a special lineup to celebrate its 75th Anniversary, called the “75th Anniversary Edition.” The lineup is to debut this summer, screaming Jeep appeal from top-to-bottom. Because this is a special occasion, Jeep models will be available in an array military-green exterior paint options and special interior packages embossed with the 75th Anniversary logo will be included to really give it an extra kick.
The Jeep models we can expect to be a part of this lineup are the 2016 Jeep Wrangler, 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, 2016 Jeep Cherokee, 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2016 Jeep Compass, 2016 Jeep Patriot, and 2016 Jeep Renegade. Many of these models are favorites among the Jeep community, and some of them are being shown off in three 30-second Jeep commercials that have recently aired on TV.
During the 2016 Super Bowl, Jeep’s 1st commercial aired to make some noise about their 3rd annual summer campaign. It went by the name “4×4 Summer”, featuring an original track by Sony/ATv’s Morgan Dorr. USA Basketball Men’s National Team finalist Paul George has also partnered up with Jeep for this campaign, and the commercials have swept through Jeep’s social media platforms on a global scale.
The “4×4 Summer” shows off a variety of cultures and celebrates its fans to give a global sense of belonging. In “What I Stand 4”, Paul George has a voice-over as he plays a game of Basketball and is picked up by friends in a 2016 Jeep Wrangler. A third commercial named “4 New Perspective” focuses on Hispanic and African-American culture stories to further include Jeep communities around the world.
Being that the Jeep brand continues to set record sales, including its 14-percent increase this past May, there is even more to celebrate this summer with the 75th Anniversary Edition. In addition to the military-green exterior paint options (Sarge Green, Recon Green, and Jungle Green) and distinctive interior packages, Jeep models will also come with low gloss bronze wheels, bronze and orange exterior accents, and seats with choice of Gode-Tex or leather inserts.
