We had Wyatt, our English Shepherd, out on the farm, but knew he needed a companion of his own kind, so we brought home Bella, as rescue dog, on this day. She fell fast asleep on the guitar cases while Wyatt watched over her.

At 13, Dooley only spent 4 years with us...blind, toothless, and initially terrified. No one offered to foster him. I took him in and 'failed' almost immediately, meaning I knew I would adopt him. He left me in December, 2016.

1933 IH "Truck" in '64: new oak cab, floor, running boards, required turn signals; all done by 1959 owners. Black & blue-green matches original. To Baltimore in '70. Sold 2010 to fan to restore, close to tears when he sat in driver's seat.

This was a 1962 black Renault Dauphine with the engine in the rear and a white racing stripe. My friends and I took many joy rides around Woodlawn and beyond. My dad helped me find it in Eddie Gemp's junk yard for $40.
