In fall of this year I was at the *** * and signed up for a presentation that they promised a $300 giftcard, free 5 day cruise and another giftcard. I needed to pay a $20 fee and they sent a link for the **** link. I ended up in the hospital and had to reschedule. I have emailed and called them I can't tell you how many times to get my deposit back since this was clearly a scam and have not been able to reach anyone.

Myself and my wife ******* ***** went to the *** * in Springfield Mass. A company named Condominium Travel Club offered us a 5 day ******** Cruise and a $30.00 ****** gift card if we would attend a 90 minute presentation of their company. The person at the booth was ****. We had to pay $20.00 upfront to secure an appointment time which was on 9/26 Tuesday at 4:00 PM. We listened to the presentation and were not interested. On their brouchure they list a website to claim your 5 day ******** Cruise, ************************ to register for it. The site does not work and the URL can't be found. There is also another website in their invitation to claim a $300.00 vacation card, which was not even talked to us about, but you need a valid card code to register for that reward, which we never got. That site was *********************** We just want our 5 day ******** Cruise voucher which we were told it was good for 18 months and our ****** $30.00 gift card.

My wife, kids and I went to the **** county fair where we spoke to a lady by the name of Rhonda who was working a booth for the Condominium Travel Club. She informed us of the services and benefits of the service and asked if we wanted to do see their presentation in which we would get a 'up to 5 day ******** Cruise for 2' and a '300$ vacation card for seeing the presentation. We agreed and she informed use we need to pay 20$ to save our spot, but in return we would get a 50$ gift card for watching the presentation. We paid the money and selected our presentation time of 7:15pm on the following Tuesday (4/25/2023). We never received an email or phone call about the presentation. I called on Friday and left a message and than again today (5/1/2023) but have yet to get a call back. This is a scam and I would like what I was offered. I will never buy anything from them.

Better Business Bureau:  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The company refunded me the initial 20$ but feel they should've provided the incentives they offered for listening to their presentation. Which was a 50$ gift card and cruise for 2. But I'm good. I never want to do business with them.  Regards,  ****** ****

Signed up for a timeshare no commitment and cancel at any time as we were unsure of the business and questioned some of the concerns in reviews. The agent that signed us up informed us that if we are dissatisfied at any point we can cancel at no cost and no penalty. After trying to utilize some of the benefits we found that the properties and or service were completely unprofessional and inhabitable. We were also told we would be able to utalize the service for not only places to stay but rental cars and other benefits when traveling. On our first trip to Dominican Republic, we booked a timeshare with the agency when we got to the resort we realized it was more like a boarding house with more than one couple in each apartment with shared bathrooms. The place was completely run down and currently under construction. There was a sewer opening with horrible odor. Because of this we ended up leaving the boarding house to try and find another place to stay. The timeshare company could not help us locate another property and we’re unable to secure a rental like previously agreed. We were stranded in that area for hours trying to work with local companies to get around and find place to stay. We were also supposed to have shuttle service and was picked up 2 hours after there said time of arrival. After all of this we spoke to the agency and asked for a refund and they would not assist. After that we decided to cancel as it just seemed fraudulent and a lot of false advertising. After speaking with the agency they informed us we would not be able to cancel for a year. But during contractual agreement they said we would be able to cancel at anytime. We also were not told that in signing up we would be taking an additional loan from a third party bank for the timeshare. They told us to wait a year and call to cancel. After waiting we went to cancel with the company to find out that they transferred our account to a collection agency. They have not assisted with any issues.

Dear **** and *****, We do not sell timeshare and we did not book you in a timeshare in the Dominican Republic; therefore, we cannot help you with your complaint.  We do see a request for accommodations in ***** ***** ******** San Juan.  That is an all-inclusive resort.  We do not show you booking that request.  We see you booked two hotel weeks with us for two consecutive weeks at ****** **** Resort in Kissimmee in 2019.  You booked them for the low member rate of $199 a week. We offer members a diverse suite of services including car rentals at member only rates (well below public rates). We offer members Condo/Resorts, Cruises, Excursions, Guided Travel, All-Inclusive, Golf, Camping, Hotels, Discount retail stores and much more. You can choose to not continue your membership after the first year by not renewing your membership but you are responsible for the initial purchase amount agreed to whether you continue with our services or not.  We financed your membership in house (not through a third party) but you stopped paying for it and we had to hire a third party to collect the money you owed us. Sincerely,  Condominium Travel Club, Inc. Kyle H*******Vice President Sales

On 06/05/2020, I was laid off from my job of nearly 18 years due to COVID. I placed a call to Condominium Travel Club to have the membership canceled since I had no way of paying for it and they said they could defer two months. After the 2 month deferment I called back and explained I still had no job and needed to cancel the membership. Again I was told I could not cancel and to just continue making payments. This is when I stopped paying for something that I never once used and had no plans on ever using since our lives were spiraling downward out of control. I paid them around $700 from the time we signed up until the time we stopped paying. I never once used their services and with COVID in full effect there were no services being offered. I still have no job and now have a collections company trying to collect the remaining balance $3500. I’m not even requesting a refund of the $700, I just want this membership canceled as of September 2020 when our last payment was received.
