It comes standard with a 6.2 liter EcoTec3 V8 engine, unique exterior grille styling, interior stitching, 22-inch wheels, and magnetic ride control suspension with an available first-in-its-class four-corner air ride adaptive suspension.   The Chevy Tahoe is offered with three different engines: the 5.3-liter V8, delivering 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque; the 6.2-liter V8, standard on the High Country, which puts out 420 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque; and a 3.0-liter diesel, available on all trims except the Z71, producing 277 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. The 3.0-liter is the only diesel engine available in the full-size SUV category, a fact many consumers will find to be the deciding factor in their ultimate decision. The new 2021 Tahoe addresses this with the addition of an independent rear suspension. This allows each wheel to adapt independently to road conditions, giving the vehicle a more agile and stable ride, and providing more comfort to driver and passengers. Better traction is achieved because the tires work independently and grip the road differently, depending on terrain.

  Towing capacity is another great benefit on the 2021 Chevy Tahoe, with a range of 8,100 lbs on the Tahoe equipped with the 6.2 liter-V8 and four-wheel drive, to 8,400 lbs on the 5.3-liter V8-equipped Tahoe two-wheel drive and Chevy’s Max Trailering Package.   The 2021 Tahoe has been completely refreshed on the inside, including several significant infotainment upgrades. Starting with the dash, Chevy includes a 10-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a wireless charging pad that’s standard on all trims except the base LS. On-the-road connectivity is possible due to the available 4G LTE WiFi, a feature that some drivers consider a must in today’s hyper-connected world.
