Second night of a back-to-back but a relatively easy schedule strech - The Hornets are coming to town to cap off the Wizards’ homestand after a well-earned win Monday night against the Indiana Pacers.

The next game after this one is against the league-worst Detroit Pistons so overall this four-game stretch offers the Wizards a sort of break: two winnable games against teams hoovering around the .500 padded by two Pistons shootarounds games. The schedule gets tougher later on, so if there are still any hopes for making the play-in tournament, well, now is the time to pile up those Ws. Besides, the Wizards have been surprisingly good in some second nights of back-to-backs in recent memory.

Denk Avdija is back to heavier minutes - It will be interesting to see how Avdija reacts in the next couple games to the Troy Brown Jr. trade as his minutes inevitably will start climbing back up.

Fire Scott Brooks - I mean, a buy-out will be tough at this point.
