It’s that time of the year. But, that doesn’t have to mean green beer! Get a load of this classic Irish Dry Stout instead. Bready, biscuity base malt supports a sizable load of English roasted barley for that classic Irish Stout profile of robust roasty notes, a hint of coffee, and a touch of chocolate. Flaked barley and a nitro pour give this beer a silky, creamy body that satisfies. Low abv and a manageable bitterness will have you downing this pint!

Ah yes the late winter months…for some, a time for fasting, reflection, and for others, a time for some tasty, malty winter beers! This “Fastenbier” is brewed in the Franconian tradition. Traditionally, these beers were brewed by Franconian monks to get through lent.

A deep amber-brown color yields a lightly smoky nose with a bready, malty backbone. Gentle notes of cherrywood smoke, fruity/spicy rye, rich malt, and a light hop bitterness grace the palate and lend complexity. A moderate ABV and medium body keeps you from thinking too hard about it and enjoying it all winter long.

Malts: Munich, Pils, Vienna, Rye, Crystals, Chocolate.

Hops: MT Triumph

ABV: 7.6% // IBU: 55

This hop-bombed IPA is brewed with loads of MT wheat and rolled oats for a soft, smooth mouthfeel with a full body. Massive hop additions featuring three of our favorites, deliver juicy notes of pineapple, mango, berry, and citrus. A soft bitterness and hint of dank pine on the finish keep this high-octane NEIPA super drinkable.

ABV - 5.5% // IBU - 18

Dunkelweizen is the darker cousin to Hefeweizen. (Dunkel = Dark, Weizen = Wheat). It’s a dark wheat beer that is fairly malty, with notes of biscuit and bread. It’s light on the palate with common weizen yeast notes of clove and a tiny bit of banana. A great winter crusher!

Vin Blanc // From The Tank, France

Refreshing everyday white. Pale yellow in the glass with a tart, fruity nose and dynamic mineral scents. The palate opens with crisp citrus and peach flavors that are boosted by vibrant acidity and heady minerality.

Vin Rouge // From The Tank, France

Elegant notes of smoky red fruit, violet, sweet herb & a note of baking chocolate. The palate is rich with ripe cherry & berry flavors, & a mineral note that is followed by supple acidity & velvety tannins. This is a very expressive red with a great concentration of fruit & yet it is never overly extracted. The wine finishes with floral notes & a dash of black pepper.

Last Chance Pub & Cider Mill—Billings, MT

ABV - 6.7%

Fermented with best cider apples and sweetened with pear juice from Oregon. Moderately sweet with apple and pear notes that finish on a refreshingly crisp note.

Grisettes are a close cousin to saisons and other farmhouse ales. Hailing from the border of France and Belgium, this refreshing ale was the drink of choice for many a miner back in the day. A light, effervescent body carries lightly bready notes, and a gentle Belgian yeast character. Lemon peel in the kettle and Lemon Drop Hops in the fermenter give a kiss of pithy lemony goodness to this quenching crushable session beer.

ABV: 5.1% // IBU: 18

Brewed for a day on the river, this classic German-style helles lager showcases the finest ingredients MT has to offer. Brewed with a traditional decoction mash, Seam Seeker brings a rich, bready malt body gently balanced by spicy MT noble hops. Lagered forever and naturally carbonated, this beer is crispy, crushable, and satisfying.

Like to get off the beaten path? Like to hit those powder pillows off the groomers? This beer is for you! A fairly classic west-coast IPA with a juicy twist, Off-Piste brings it. A firm bitterness and easygoing malt background support big notes of citrus, pine, and juicy tropical fruit. Big and bold, this beer will warm you right up after you go head first into the pow.

We’re a big fan of lagers at our new location. Our German brewhouse is just begging to make them. So, we took one of our classic house beers, Canyon Line Blonde, and reworked it to be even more crisp and refreshing…and made it a lager! Pale 6-row malt and rice ensure this light-bodied lager stays clean and crispy. Low hopping, and a low ABV will have you quenched and thinking about replacing your favorite macro lawnmower beer.

Living somewhere between West-coast dry, bitter IPAs, and East-coast juicy, hazy IPAs, this “northern” IPA showcases a balanced, gentle bitterness, a malty-sweet backbone, and a full body. Large amounts of Azacca and Amarillo hops in the dry hop bring notes of zesty citrus, sticky tropical fruit, and hints of pine resin.

ABV: 5.2% // IBU: 45

Forklift Rodeo is named for the “good” times we had forklifting our new brewhouse into our new location. Just like a wild man on a forklift, this easy IPA brings waves of interesting character. Strata hops are featured, bringing juicy tropical notes, zesty citrus, and dank pine. This pale finishes light and the malt stays out the way for a highly drinkable beer.
