Highlights

  • 5.80 m long luxury car with typical 70s character
  • A highly original version overall
  • 7.5-litre V8 engine with 3-speed automatic transmission

The Appeal

Originally designed by Edsel Ford himself in 1939, the Continental was always heralded as Ford's flagship luxury car. It was big, bold and dazzling in every department - a heritage it continued to uphold throughout its production run.

By the 1970s, the car's essential character had been established - it was one of the greatest cars Ford had ever made. With almost palatial interiors - laden with coloured leather and warm wood - and huge V8 engines, everything here is designed to impress.

This elegant example appears to be in very original condition, with a superb retro patina.
