2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV Trim Level Comparison

The 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV has two trim levels. The base, or standard trim level, of the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV is the LT, which starts out at $37,495. The second trim level is called the Premier, and it starts out at $41,895. The Premier includes more standard and available features to make itself more valuable. On the exterior, this means Ultra-Bright machined aluminum wheels with painted pockets as opposed to painted aluminum wheels on the LT. It means having integrated turn signal repeaters on the exterior side mirrors to help people see you from all angles. The LT does not offer integrated repeaters.

Venturing inside, you will notice that the Premier trim level of the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV comes with an automatic heated steering wheel, which is an upgrade for the LT. When you turn on your music, the Premier trim level will play it for you through its Bose ® premium 7-speaker audio system, which is not available for the LT. Continuing with the technology theme, the Premier trim level also offers device-charging USB ports and an optional Infotainment Package which includes a subwoofer speaker, wireless device charging, and rear USB ports for device charging.

Moving on from the exterior and interior, let’s look at safety features. Both trim levels are equipped with advanced safety technology to keep you safe, including ten airbags and optional driver-assistance technology. Safety is a standard, not an upgrade. However, the Premier trim level of the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV still has a few extra safety features for added convenience. These include the HD Surround Vision camera, which is an upgraded version of the HD Rear Vision Camera that the LT trim level offers. Surround Vision is convenient because it lets you see a view of what is around your vehicle at all angles. The Premier trim level also has standard Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, which is available on the LT as an upgrade. This feature makes changing lanes less stressful.

When it comes to fuel economy, the two trim levels of the 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV are equals. The same is true of dimensions for the two trim levels and warranty coverage. These are the basic features that make a 2020 Chevrolet Bolt EV what it is.
