The Lamborghini Gallardo was among the first Raging Bulls to be built under the Audi umbrella, something that became quickly evident as soon as you sat down behind the wheel.
Its Spyder version was launched in 2006, three years after the Coupe, and came with a retractable soft-top and a little more power courtesy of the 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V10 engine. This one here is a grey over black example, with 12,000 miles (19,300 km) on the clock.
It is currently being auctioned off through Bring a Trailer, and appears to be in tip top shape from a visual standpoint. Its Grigio Antares exterior makes for a sizable aesthetic departure when compared to most other colors you’ll usually find on a Lamborghini. It almost looks more German than Italian.

Other notable features include the power-operated black soft top, Silver-finished 19-inch Callisto wheels with Lamborghini center caps, Pirelli P Zero tires, and the silver six- and four-piston brake calipers.
Inside, there is Nero Perseus leather upholstery with grey piping and stitching, heated power seats, leather steering wheel, an Audi-sourced infotainment system with sat-nav and rear-view camera, plus dual zone climate control. Also, there’s a six-disc CD changer in the frunk.
In the power department, the Gallardo Spyder came with a little extra horsepower compared to the original Coupe – its 5.0-liter V10 thus producing 513 HP (520 PS) and 376 lb-ft (510 Nm) of torque, channeled to all four wheels with the aid of a 6-speed e-gear electrohydraulic manual gearbox. It could hit 60 mph from a standstill in around 4 seconds, which is fast even by 2020 standards.
