This 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S Has The Same Radium Green Paint As The 356

A sweet looking, but not factory-painted, 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera S is searching for a new home with a $78,900 price tag and just 4,900 miles (7,885 km) on the clock.

While a 911 Carrera S may not seem all that special in the world of track-focused Porsche GT models as well as supercar-destroyers like the 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S, this one stands out thanks to its paint scheme. Adorning the exterior of the car is a shade of Radium Green that was offered by Porsche on early 356 models back in the 1950s.

Radium Green is not a color that Porsche itself offers through its extensive Paint to Sample program, meaning the previous owner of this car had it painted by a 3rd party. Marshall Goldman, the dealership selling the car, says the “quality of the paint is superb and smoother than factory.” Not only does it give the sports car a retro vibe but it makes it look unlike any other on earth.

In addition to the paint, the car rides on a set of 20-inch Sport Techno wheels and comes equipped with a sports exhaust system. In addition, it includes various factory options such as the light design package, front and rear park assist, Sport Chrono package, an electric sunroof, Burmester premium audio system with satellite radio, and a 6-disc CD changer. Contrasting the paint are red brake calipers.

The interior finish is just as intriguing as the outside with most parts, including the seats, bathed in Espresso brown leather. While we’re not convinced the brown leather goes all that well with the Radium Green paint, it certainly adds to the exclusivity of the 911.
