This car recently has had a professional frame-off rotisserie restoration completed by Thorntons of Quakertown, PA, a very well known restorer of 1966-1972 Oldsmobiles. The top side and undercarriage are fully detailed and show beautifully.
This very rare ram-air 442 is 1 of only 183 4-speed convertibles made. The motor, transmission and rear are factory original. The original 455 engine has been rebuilt to factory specifications and produces 340 horsepower. The car has the original Muncie M20 4-speed with a 3.23 posi-traction rear axle. Additional factory installed options include a W25 outside air induction hood, 4-barrel Quadra-Jet Carburetor, Original Hurst shifter, dual exhaust trumpet tips, bucket seats with console, factory Rally gauge package, Sport steering wheel, Power Steering, Power disc brakes, Power trunk, Air Conditioning, AM / FM stereo with 8-track player, Super Stock 1 wheels, Goodyear Polyglas G70x14 tires and a Tilt column.
