Chrysler has failed to implement a recall on a dangerous ongoing issue with engine cradles
Why this petition matters
There is a dangerous issue with the Chrysler Pacifica that numerous people have complained about for years. This issue affects various years but my issue is with the 2006. The subframe, engine cradle and engine mounts rust so severely that engines can fall right out of the vehicle. Can you imagine driving down the highway at about 70 mph with a semi-truck barreling behind you and suddenly your engine falls out of your car? I am so thankful this was not my case. My husband took ours in for a front end alignment because as I explained it to him, "When I start, turn or stop at any speed it feels as if my car is going to come off of the frame." I know little about cars but having driven my car for so many years I knew it wasn't right. When we took it in the mechanic showed my husband that the engine was basically days away from falling out of the car! A less experienced driver or a person driving a new to them used Pacifica would have had no clue. This is an easy repair yet it cost me a couple grand. People work hard for their money and I believe they should be fully refunded for repairs in this matter. I am just so thankful that Chrysler's failure to address the issue did not cost my life. Unfortunately, people have been injured and possibly worse. Please help us get the message to Chrysler loud and clear that the risk is too great. Please sign this petition to prevent any injuries or deaths.
