1969 Chevrolet Nova LS 6-speed

Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 1962 Chevrolet Nova LS 6-Speed automatic convertible for sale in our Mesa, AZ showroom. Entering the early 60s Chevrolet wanted to make a new compact car and unknowingly created a classic that would be loved for generations to come. Only offered for two years, were the convertible body style. The convertible was offered in Ermine white (936) with blue and ivory vinyl buckets (741). As well can see, it has gone through a full restoration.
This road ready LS Convertible Nova is way more than what chevy had in mind when the chevy II was released as a more traditional approach to the compact car wars of the time, it was a tad larger than the Corvair, but still smaller and lighter than an Impala or Bel Air. It's also a good-looking car, restrained and smooth, with styling that echoes some of its big brothers in the GM line. The lines of the early nova were simple and gave a clear Muscle Car feel to the overall look of the car.
Simple interiors were typical of the early Chevy II's, but that's not now the case at all here. Open the doors and a classic Ivory vinyl (with updated upholstery) interior will greet you. The two comfortable bucket seats are in great shape. In front of the driver is an aftermarket steering wheel that sits on a painted steering column. Beyond the wheel, you'll find a custom dash that houses the Classic Instruments gauge cluster. On the floor the burgundy carpets are in great shape and are protected by floor mats. Overall, the interior is in excellent shape and accents the burgundy exterior perfectly.
Pop the hood and the custom theme continues as a beautiful sounding, 5.3L LM7 fuel injected V8 with a Wilson fast 92MM intake, fast fuel rails, stainless works long tube headers, ice cold Vintage Air, Dirty Dingo accessory brackets put it all together. This is mated to a 6-speed, yes 6-speed 6L80E transmission. 4-wheel Wilwood disc brakes stop this powerful cruiser, and a 4-core radiator keeps it cool on those hot summer days. Ready for show or go, the engine is in great shape and will take you across the country. This Nova has power steering and lots of other goodies. The 10-bolt rear end sends power to the six-speed automatic transmission. Dual exhaust, new shocks, and a new fuel tank equip this Chevy. This Chevy rides on aftermarket rallye replica rims and 215/45ZR17 on the front and 225/45ZR17's on the rear.
