Jon Wong's 2008 Honda S2000 CR is a track star
The Honda S2000 CR is track-ready hero right off the showroom floor.
After purchasing my S2000 in 2011, only minor changes have been done to it in order to make it more track-worthy.
More aggressive brake pads and high-temp brake fluid have been installed to better cope with longer track sessions.
A Spoon front strut tower bar and under-body brace have also been installed to up rigidity a little.
Some may notice the Volk CE28 rims that certainly not stock, but they are stock-sized.
Being an AP2 S2000, the CR is powered by a 2.2-liter I4 making 237 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque.
The only transmission available in the S2000 was a super-slick-shifting six-speed manual.
Part of what makes the S2000 so much to fun on track is its excellent steering. It's responsive, well-weighted and offers oodles of feedback.
During a typical year, my S2000 CR gets to the track two times.

The S2000 may be the least powerful one in this picture, but it's just as engaging to drive as the others.
