A Spacious, Beautiful Sedan

The return of the Lincoln Continental provides a clear opportunity for drivers to fall in love with this luxury vehicle again, and at Coccia Lincoln, we're happy to show it off to you. It's a well-designed midsize luxury sedan with numerous features and upgrades since its last iteration. This upscale vehicle is surprisingly strong and has ample get-up-and-go power. At the same time, it has some nice luxury features (you'll love the infotainment and seats).

When it comes to seeing what the 2020 Lincoln Continental has to offer, we suggest visiting our Wilkes-Barre, PA dealership to take one out for a test drive.

Strong Engines and Features

For a midsize sedan, the Lincoln Continental is powerful, and it comes with three exciting engine options. The top-of-the-line engine is the 3.0L twin-turbo V6 engine, which is optional on Reserve and Lincoln Black Label models. This engine also features Dynamic Torque Vectoring, which helps it to get 400 horsepower and up to 400 lb-ft of torque.

For other models, drivers can expect the 3.7L Ti-VCT V6 engine to provide ample power at 305 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. This engine gets an EPA-estimated 17 MPG city and 26 MPG highway. Another option is the twin-turbocharged 2.7L V6 engine, which is standard on Reserve and Lincoln Black Label models. It gets 355 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque along with an EPA-estimated 17 MPG city and 25 MPG highway. Also note the adaptive suspension system, creating easy control.

Interior Upgrades

From the moment you sit down, you'll feel relaxed. Turn on the radio to capture incredible sound with the 13-speaker Revel audio system. Settle down into the heated and ventilated front seats that offer 24-way adjustability, which is perfect for those who want a very specific position. The three-zone automatic climate control makes staying comfortable easy, too.

There's also standard in-dash navigation to help you get around. For many, though, it's about the leather seats and the knurled aluminum features. There's also genuine wood and chrome detailing throughout the interior. Also nice are the inflatable side bolsters and the adjustable thigh supports that help drivers to truly settle in for the long ride. The vehicle is large and the rear seats fold down to add more storage room.

Exterior Beauty

There's little doubt the Lincoln Continental is a luxurious car from the looks of it with its soft, curved lines and stunning chrome compliments. This year's model also features three new colors (the Red Carpet Metallic Tinted Clearcoat is an incredibly deep color for example). You'll find three total trim options including the Lincoln Continental Standard, Reserve and Lincoln Black Label. The standard wheels are 19-inch wheels, and, unlike other vehicles in this class, a panoramic sunroof, and power-operated trunk lid are standard.

Technology

No luxury vehicle would be complete without the highest-end technology, and the Lincoln Continental is no exception. It features a head-up display for starters. That means the system will display your speed, fuel left, and other important information right on the windshield, helping you to avoid dropping your head to see the details. Another nice feature in the Lincoln Continental is TIDAL, a streaming music and entertainment service that gives you access to over 60 million songs.

The sound quality is outstanding, filling the car with pristine sound. For connectivity, count on the SYNC® 3 system, which gives you a responsive voice-activated technology and has a screen that's much like your smartphone. It's super easy to use and there's also the availability to upgrade the system to include Navigation. Lincoln + Alexa is onboard, and the digital display is completely configured.

Driver Safety That's Expected

The Lincoln Continental features Lincoln Co-Pilot360, a suite of features that helps you stay on the road and collision-free. It features tech like Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking, which helps you avoid collisions by automatically applying the brake as needed. The Lane-Keeping System works from a camera that's mounted to the rearview mirror. If you move outside of the lane markers and it believes it's unintentional drifting, it can help to steer you back into them.

The rearview camera ensures you don't back out without knowing what's behind you. This, along with Blind Spot Detection with Cross-Traffic Alert, helps you avoid collisions on and off the road. If the car detects another vehicle from up to 15 yards away, it sends an audible warning, a visual display pops up and a signal alerts you.

Let's be clear — these are just some of the features you'll find on the 2020 Lincoln Continental. To really experience it, visit us in Wilkes-Barre, PA, check out the Lincoln Continental for sale, and take it out for a test drive. You'll love the experience.
