The best part of Bratz: Fashion Boutique is its dress-up element, which lets young players choose from hundreds of outfits, hairstyles, and makeup styles to create appealing looks for both the Bratz and their customers. Kids can also decorate four different boutiques with furniture and other accessories. The characters in the game are all supermodel-thin, obsessed with shopping and clothes, and wear a lot of makeup, so they might not be the best body image role models for young girls and tweens. Also, the tasks that kids must perform –- which include cutting fabric and sorting buttons –- quickly become repetitive. Still, the game has decent graphics and production values, and kids will enjoy seeing the outfits they’ve created modeled by the Bratz.
