Corvair emblem Corsa Fall Classic at Clark's Corvair Parts

Evening Orchid was a color exclusive to the '65 Corvair Monza and Corsa models, and wasn't available on the base 500 series. Because the color is quite rare, I thought I'd show you a couple of shots of this 140 horsepower Corsa convertible, owned by Colonial Corvairs member, Steve Burns.

While bumper guards were a popular option, Steve opted for the cleaner lines of an uncluttered bumper. However, the top-of-the-line Corsa is not without options, and is equipped with aftermarket headlight stone guards. As well as being practical, the guards give the car rally flair.

'65 Corvair Monza Sport Coupe

It's starting to get really wet at the Fall Classic but we soldier on. Seen above is another nice looking and relatively stock '65 Monza. The Madeira Maroon coupe does have a couple of subtle custom touches such as an aftermarket dual exhaust system, and a rear cove area painted Argent Silver, like the top-of-the-line Corsa series. The full wheel covers are correct for the year. The same type of wheel cover with a series-specific center insert was standard equipment on both the Monza and the Corsa.
