Corvettes for Sale: Nassau Blue 2000 Corvette Convertible on Craigslist

A few years back, I had a black Camaro ZL1. I loved that car, especially the burbling exhaust sounds, but didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t even leave my own neighborhood without seeing another Camaro that looked virtually the same.

Fast forward to this story about a 2000 Corvette convertible currently available for sale on Craigslist out of the Denver, Colorado area for $20,933.

Unlike my Camaro, It’s not likely you will meet your twin on the highway with this Corvette as it’s one of only 209 Nassau Blue convertibles built in 2000. Nassau Blue was offered on the C5 from 1997-2000 but never proved to be very popular.

In fact, in its last year of production in 2000, Nassau Blue was the least chosen color with only 851 produced in coupe, convertible, and hardtop fashion.

This convertible has been driven 78,100 miles and features a black soft top and Light Gray interior. We do note the condition of the driver’s seat which does show a couple of rips in the leather seat cover.

The drivetrain includes an LS1 V8 engine that produces 345 horsepower and is connected to an automatic transmission.

The selling dealer says this Corvette has just been serviced with an inspection, oil and filter, and now it’s “ready to enjoy” with summer rapidly approaching.

Would you like to see it in your driveway?

  1. I’m surprised that Nassau Blue was so unpopular on the early C5s. It looks good to me but Electron Blue Metallic that replaced it was definitely a better looking shade of blue in my opinion.

  2. I second the motion that electron blue was a hit in my heart. Nassau is good but the seller made a mistake for NOT taken the Pix in the SUN !!!! 😎
