Default Finally getting to drive our '95 teal vert

When I was young I used to hear older people comment that every year time just seemed to go by faster. Now that I am in my 50's I am starting to feel that way more every year.

Could not believe when I started looking at the paperwork a month ago that I had purchased our new to us '95 vette August 8th, 2015. Sad to say that I got busy with some different projects last fall and I just had not gotten to start driving the vette yet since I purchased it. Finally got off my duff and got it out of winter hibernation and all I can say is what a fun car to drive.

Was not prepared for all the comments and looks the car gets when we take it out but enjoy every minute -thought I would post a few picks of our teal beauty !

Looking clean! Drive it when you can, the chores will always be there when you get back.

Teal was not offered in 95

Yes our '95 is Bright Aqua Metallic according to GM but in reality it is a medium to dark teal. In a previous thread I told the story of finding the car but it was a 16 hour drive away and the pictures the PO took made it look more blue than anything. Long story short I had 16 long hours to drive down and check out the car in person to confirm what color the car really was-LOL.

The C4 vette picture you showed is not actually teal but a bright turquoise and reminds me of a color that was on some GM cars back in the 60's and I like it. Had a neighbor when I was a kid who had a 1968 El Camino and man I thought that light turquoise color really made that car stand out-classy , subtle and elegant all at the same time. Of course back then I am sure GM called the color light green or something but if I could not have found a Bright Aqua Metallic C4 vert I would have been looking for a turquoise one.

Thanks for all the nice comments on our '95. I am proud to say that since I brought the car to work I am now cool with all the younger kids-LOL!

Any other Bright Aqua Metallic C4 owners out there that can post some pictures of their car ? Would love to see some more photos of them as it seems you do not see them very often.

It is NOT teal. The car shown is Bright Turquoise Metallic, which was used through 1991. In MY opinion it is a very nice color. I think it is so nice that I bought one. Bright Aqua Metallic was used from 1992 to 1996.

You, however, are entitled to your opinion, even if it is so very wrong.

Since teal is my favorite color, I have to interject. No C4 is teal. Teal is a darker shade than either Turquoise Metallic (90-91) or Bright Aqua Metallic (92-96). Turquoise is greener than Aqua, which is more of a sea-bluegreen. Im not a big fan of the turquoise, but I saw a 90 up close once and it was better than I expected.

If you want to see teal, its on the 4th gen Camaro. I believe it was called Mystic Teal.

Ok, enough nerding.

Great Vette and color...I like the turqoise as well.

Without a doubt, the C4 has had some of the wildest paint color offerings....

Oh right, to the OP: Aqua verts are awesome. It screams 90's on Miami beach haha. I really think aqua and verts are a match made in heaven.

That’s a real nice ’95, don’t see too many BAMs on the road these days, or C4’s for that matter. Enjoy your vert!
