Cruisin Classics is proud to present for your consideration this beautiful 1964 Chevrolet Impala. This awesome ride was born Silver Blue with an Ermine White top, but comes to us today with a slick coat of Silver Blue Metallic on both the top and bottom. The paint was done around 2000 when the restoration took place and it still presents very well today. The front of the car has a great look with a rectangular eggcrate grill flanked by dual headlights with a chrome strip forming a border around it. The front bumper has a nice shine and features integrated turn signals. Up on the hood is a raised chrome spear that cuts right down the center and draws the eye to the red, white, and blue Chevrolet logo on the upper grill surround. The sides of the car feature two pieces of trim with white paint between them that run from the front of the car to the rear, then curve down and come back at the bottom to the back of the front wheel well – a really great look. The window trim gleams in the light, as do the drip rail moldings and connecting trim between the side and rear window. Both sides sport dual side mirrors, cross-flag emblems on the front fenders, and “CHEVROLET” lettering with a circular Impala logo on the rear quarters. Chrome exhaust tips peek out from behind the rear tires. Around back, the trunk features a piece of raised trim down its center, mimicking the hood. A white painted section in the shape of an upside down U runs from side to side on the vertical part of the trunk lid, bordered by chrome trim and featuring “CHEVROLET” lettering in its center. Beneath it is another red, white and blue Chevrolet emblem flanked by a trio of chrome trimmed tail lights on either side. Underneath the lights is an incredibly nice chrome rear bumper. This whole beautiful blue and chrome machine sits on 5-spoke Eagle Alloys wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Advantage GT tires. Lift the hood to reveal a very clean and organized engine bay. According to the last owner, the engine is a non-numbers matching 327 V-8 that was rebuilt and balanced around the time the car was restored. The engine is topped with a trio of Edelbrock products – intake, 4-barrel carburetor, and chrome-topped air cleaner. Other things of note under the hood include chrome “Chevrolet” logo valve covers, a chrome alternator, a newer-looking brake booster with dual reservoir, power steering unit, cast exhaust manifolds, nice under-hood matting, and best of all – a working Frigidaire AC compressor! The 327 is mated to a 2-speed Powerglide transmission with column shift, a great cruising combination. Stopping power comes courtesy of front disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors paired with rear drums. When you open the drivers door you are greeted by a beautiful OEM light blue interior with tons of great 60's style. The door panels are in excellent condition and their silver accents pop in the light. The vinyl and cloth bench seat features 2 shades of blue as well as a grey cloth insert with a cool design. The back seat follows the same design and features the iconic Impala logo'd rear speaker cover at its center. The light blue hook and loop carpet is in good condition as is the blue vinyl headliner. In the rear are 2 coat hangers and courtesy lights on the rear pillars. The driver is treated to a spectacular 2-tone blue 2-spoke steering wheel with logo horn ring and a tilt column. Ahead of the driver is a blue metal dash with a blue vinyl pad that is in good condition. The dash has a speedometer, gas gauge, clock (inop.), and warning lights for hot, cold, oil, and gen. Under the dash to the drivers left is a set of SW gauges for oil pressure and water temp. The climate controls work as they should with a strong fan, hot heat, and cold A/C. There is a push-button AM/FM Delco stereo in the dash but it is inop.. Ahead of the front passenger is a glovebox adorned with a bright accent strip with “Impala” on it. Around back is an exceptionally clean trunk with a full spare and factory jack. We also have some very important extras that go along with this Impala – the original owners manual, the build sheet, and an inch thick folder of receipts from work done! If you're an Impala fan, you're going to love the originality of this awesome cruiser. This is the kind of classic that you can hop in and cruise down the freeway to a car show in the next town with the cold A/C blowing and a big smile on your face. As nice as this car is, it surely won't last long – so don't delay, give our friendly staff a call today!
