tuscanSince its debut in 2008, the Enclave has garnered commercial success and critical acclaim; its sales are climbing year after year, and professional reviewers have praised its luxurious and spacious interior. With the Tuscan Edition package, the Enclave is better than ever.

The 2016 Buick Enclave Tuscan Edition replaces the standard chrome-accented waterfall grille with a gleaming bronze-toned one. Also, instead of the regular 19-inch aluminum wheels, the Enclave Tuscan rides on 20-inch chrome-clad cast wheels with bronze accents. The vehicle is available in three color finishes: Dark Chocolate Metallic, Ebony Twilight Metallic, and White Frost Tricoat. Joining the aforementioned enhancements are standard exterior features that include a rear spoiler, HID projector automatic on/off lamps, and power heated side mirrors with turn-signal indicators.

The Tuscan package only accentuates one of the most prominent luxury crossover SUVs in the market. Whether it is the Convenience, Leather Group or Premium Group trim, the 2016 Enclave Tuscan is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 288 horsepower at 6,300 RPM and 270 lb-ft of torque at 3,400 RPM. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, and you have a choice between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive with the Leather and Premium trims. The Enclave Tuscan uses a four-wheel independent suspension for comfort and driving versatility.

For entertainment, the Convenience and Leather trims of the Enclave Tuscan come with a six-speaker stereo system that includes an AM/FM receiver, CD player with MP3 playback, and steering wheel-mounted controls. On the top-level Premium trim, Buick replaces the aforementioned system with a 10-speaker Bose set-up that includes a navigation system. Included with the stereo system is a three-month free-trial SiriusXM subscription plan. OnStar 4G LTE internet connectivity and a built-in Wi-Fi hot spot is standard for all models; it comes with a three-month free-trial data plan, as well as a six-month guidance plan.

Other standard convenience features include OnStar’s emergency communication system, rear vision camera with rear park assist, front and rear cupholders, and remote vehicle starter system with keyless entry. Heated steering wheels are added on the Leather and Premium models, with the option of adding a power moonroof. Designed as a seven-seater, the Enclave Tuscan features eight-way power adjustable front seats. Leather surfaces and heating capability are added on the front seats of the Leather and Premium trims; the Premium model also gets cooling capability.

Four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes enhances the vehicle’s ability to stop on less favorable surfaces. Traction control and GM’s StabiliTrak system with rollover mitigation further enhances vehicular operation on the road. Other safety and security features on the Enclave Tuscan include an anti-theft system with engine immobilizer, Side Blind Zone Alert (SBZA) with rear cross traffic alert, and a six-air bag system.
