Seller's Comments

This 1963 Jeep CJ5 may have a vintage silhouette, but it also has a ton of upgrades you're going to love. The small block V8 power, lifted stance, and interior enhancements make this a more capable and more entertaining 4x4.

The light blue paint sets the right tone for this whole Jeep. It has a nice radiance in the sunshine to give you the right added flair, but the finish is also never taken so seriously that you will ever hesitate to have some 4x4 fun. So it makes for the kind of CJ that looks good showing up at the beach or on the trails. That's why some of its most distinct features add to the ruggedness. This includes the custom front bumper with a nice polish and clean diamond plate mounting area. Those Mickey Thompson wheels show off the meaty tires, Renegade fender flares, and tall stance. And in the rear, you have a smooth style that shows off cool details like the rugged diamond plate rear frame for the seat.

This Jeep is meant to be open to the world, and so the gray interior is stylish, useful, and comfortable. It starts with some nice upgraded comforts, like the tilt steering column, a cup holder center console, and front bucket seats that look almost like they were borrowed from a Grand Wagoneer. All the diamond plating throughout the inner tub looks cool and adds to the robustness, and we like the look of the full padding on the more comprehensive roll cage. Toggle switches, T-handle shifters, and a full AutoMeter readout package complete the look of a serious off-road machine.

The engine bay has a terrific-looking clean style, and the ""Heartbeat"" etched valve covers like to announce that this is an upgrade to Chevy 350 power. It's a comprehensive build that also includes a brand new Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, a Weiand Team G intake, and headers feeding the dual exhaust. It also has good supporting components, like an electronic ignition, a steel braided hose with AN fittings, and an Afco aluminum radiator. The four-speed manual transmission gives you firm control over the V8, and it feeds into a Ford 9-inch rear. There's the two-speed 4x4 transfer case, lifted suspension, and Pro Comp Mud Terrain tires are great for off-road work. And the power steering and front disc brakes make for a nice in-town machine, too.

This CJ has the right look and the right upgrades to the kind of classic that makes plenty of new friends in the way it can show up anywhere and looks great everywhere. Call today!!!
