You could spend about one third of the calendar year seeing concerts at Red Rocks. The legendary outdoor venue has a record 119 concerts scheduled for this summer season. If you had the time, the money and the dedication, you could be up in the foothills almost every night, red monoliths to each side, the Denver skyline sprawled in the distance and music rolling up the amphitheater steps from the musicians on stage.

It sounds like a pretty good life, spending the summer seeing everything from classic rock, to country, to EDM, indie and metal music. But even then, you’d only be seeing a fraction of the music Colorado has to offer from May through September.

While the likes of Alt-J, Neil Young, My Morning Jacket, Chromeo, Van Halen and Alabama Shakes take the stage at Red Rocks, Taylor Swift, Tame Impala, U2, Speedy Ortiz and D’Angelo will fill some of the biggest and most intimate venues in the state.

To help you sift through the hundreds of Colorado summer 2015 concerts, we’ve put together this curated guide to shows this season. You can also see our picks of the 15 best shows this summer and our festival guide.
