The main advantage of Ram ProMaster® is its Class-exclusive Front Wheel Drive layout. A front-wheel drive configuration offers two things: a lower, flatter floor for loading and working on, and the second being better traction in inclement weather. ProMaster® features unit body construction for a solid structure from the cab to the rear doors; its lower center of gravity has greater stability under load and in varying road conditions. And the rear suspension is designed to maintain a level ride height, even under heavy load, with a 9,350 lbs. GVWR. 

Ram ProMaster® delivers savings in unexpected ways too. Raised headlamps and taillamps move vehicle lights away from common damage areas. And the three-piece modular front fascia is constructed of composite panels that are easily removable for simple serviceability and low repair costs. At Hand and On the Job 

Ram ProMaster® driver and passenger sit in a cab that is designed for high productivity. The driver sits elevated above the majority of traffic for better field of vision. The driver sits up high and has one of the best outward views in the business, with a short van nose for improved vision. Drivers also enjoy the best turning radius in its class – 36 feet, without steering wheel fatigue

In the back, the step up is only 21 inches – the lowest of any full-size van. Being front-wheel drive and lacking a driveshaft, the floor is wide and flat for more cargo or upfit utilization for workspace. There are two roof heights to choose from – 90 or 101 inches. In high roof models, a person over six-feet tall could work standing up inside the van – and can access the rear from the cab without bending down. The rear doors open 260 degrees to fully flat with the sides of the van, plus a 49-inch side door width. The ProMaster® van’s walls stand at nearly 90-degrees – there is no body bend to detract from the work room, ideal for customizing with bins and boxes for parts, tools and supplies. And Ram ProMaster® features a maximum cargo width of 6-feet 3-inches and best-in-class 56-inches of space between the rear wheel wells, ideal for oversized items.

Ram ProMaster® offers a number of upfit options to meet your company’s needs, from specialized upfits for delivery services, HVAC, agricultural and construction applications, plumbing, electrical, and telecom companies as well as RV conversions. On the Go Entertainment and Telematics

ProMaster® is anything but bare bones with Uconnect® 3 with a 5-inch touchscreen and Bluetooth® Streaming Audio. There’s also an available Uconnect® 3 with Navigation and 5-Inch touchscreen and SiriusXM. Telematics services are also an option for commercial customers.

Ram ProMaster®, with standard four-wheel disc Brembo anti-lock brakes, electronic stability program, seven airbags and an electric parking brake offers an additional layer of protection to the vehicle occupants and contents. Full-Speed Forward Collision Warning, post collision braking, Drowsiness Detection, Traffic Sign Recognition, rear camera with dynamic gridlines, and push-button starter are also standard. Available safety features include Active Driving Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Intelligent Speed Assist, Lane Keep Assist, 360-degree Surround View camera, front parking sensors, auto high-beams and cornering function fog lamps that help make it easier to see in less than ideal conditions. 

Support Services

Buying a ProMaster® entitles owners to a new world of support provided by Ram Commercial. Van customers would be able to shop for upfit options to customize their workspace from various vendors. Once ProMaster® is work ready, they are supported with Ram’s own BusinessLink – a program for small business towards easier purchasing of vehicles and a high level of support to keep their hard working ProMaster on the road.
