Ram 1500 Power
There are three powerful engines available for the Dodge Ram 1500. Each one is more than capable of carrying you and your cargo through any conditions.
The first choice is a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine with eTorque. It uses Variable Valve Timing (VVT) to get more efficient production and better engine output. This engine is capable of generating up to 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque.
The second option is a larger and more powerful 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine that can get up to 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque.
The final engine combines elements of the previous two. It’s also a 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine and, while it produces the same horsepower and torque, it’s equipped with eTorque and VVT to get more effective power out of the engine.
All three of these choices are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
