GT and GTZ are dropped in favor of Z26 model, which offers a standard 170-horsepower Quad 4 engine. Base models get 10 more horsepower, and the 3.1-liter V6 makes an additional 20 horsepower, up to 160. Automatic transmission is unavailable with Quad 4; manual transmission is unavailable with V6. Door-mounted seat belts are added. Automatic door locks secure doors once Beretta is underway, and unlock when car is stopped. Disable this feature by yanking a fuse. Interior lights shut off after 10 minutes to save battery. Warning chime reminds driver that turn signal has been left on.

1992 Chevrolet Beretta GTZ 2dr Coupe
This car is amazing. I bought it from a relative a few months ago. If you like performance but don't like the high price that comes with it, I suggest the GTZ with the 2.3 liter "High Output" engine. Although 180 hp doesn't sound like much, it sure feels like a whole lot more. It has 144,500 miles and neither my relative or I have had any mechanical problems, although I can say the … European suspension (Getrag) squeaks every now and again. Otherwise, it sticks to the road with its rather big tires (on 16-inch rims). As far as the interior, it is very comfortable for a compact performance car. Sure there are better cars, but not everyone has the money.

Never had a problem other than the
stubborn Check Engine light coming on
often. It should last me another
30,000 miles, unlike similar Ford cars
with the same miles.

1994 Chevrolet Beretta Z26 2dr Coupe
Bought this car with 166,000 km on it and drove it to around 277 km. Great mileage and power for days with the 3.1. This car took me everywhere and took a beating. Most reliable car I have ever had. Would start in -40 even after sitting for a month. Broke the signal off and very rare it would smoke from the hazard switch. Even with that much mileage it would put you back in your seat. … Never burned any oil and no engine problems from brand new. Car sounded great. After you get used to the brake light always on.

1993 Chevrolet Beretta GTZ 2dr Coupe
I searched and searched for a
car that I would like and could afford,
after 6 months of searching and
researching I decided I wanted a
beretta gtz, and I think it is the best
decision I have ever made, This car is
a blast it looks great and drives even
better, the 28 mpg is also A great
bonus. The quad 4 four cylinder engine
which makes over 180 hp combined with … a
very tight 5-speed makes for the best
driving and occassional street racing
car I have ever had. This car is an
overall great buy I would highly
reccomend it to anyone.
