Manage "My Account" Settings

Use the My Account settings to make adjustments to the following important account elements:

  • Your onscreen user name - Change the user name as it appears in Account Information at the top of the eVoice page.
  • Your preferred language - Affects the system greetings and prompts heard by your callers when they dial your eVoice number, as well as controls the time/date display format.
  • Your password - It is a good idea to occasionally change the password you use to access eVoice. Passwords must contain 6-10 alpha-numeric characters and cannot have more than two repetitive (11, not 111) or two sequential (12, not 123) characters. Also, passwords are not case-sensitive. NOTE: The system sends the password to the external email address you input during account sign-up.
  • Your preferred time zone - Affects the date/time stamp on your messages and your call-routing schedule/settings.

To change any of the settings:

  1. Click Settings under the eVoice header. The Settings page appears.
  2. Select My Account in the left navigation bar.
  3. Click Edit next to the setting you wish to change.
  4. Follow the onscreen instructions to change; and save the setting.
