One of our great clients who regularly brings us his work trucks brought in his 2021 GMC Yukon for a strobe light upgrade. He wanted the same visibility and safety as the Wicked Warnings strobe lights that we have integrated into his Ford F-450 work trucks, but with this higher-end truck looking a bit more classy, he wanted us to find a way to apply them creatively so it didn’t seem obvious when they were off.
We got right to work, applying the same highly durable wiring and connections for the lights to the truck. We used one Wicked Warnings Auto Flasher (WAFs) to flash the front OEM fog lights, and another one to flash the rear OEM reverse lights, keeping everything looking factory. We discreetly installed four Wicked Warnings amber and white strobes in the front grille, and added two Mini Thin-X amber and white strobe strips to each side on the running boards. We also added two more of them to the rear bumper to complete the visibility package on all sides of the vehicle.
