AFCAT 2017: The Indian Air Force (IAF) has finally announced the result of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2 on its official website – careerairforce.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the examination held on August 27 and September 17, 2017 can visit the official website to download their results. The AFCAT 2 results were announced on October 13 at around 3 pm. The official website which shows the AFCAT 2017 result indicates the roll numbers of all those candidates who will are shortlisted to appear for further rounds of selection. After AFCAT, the next round of examination will be Air Force Selection Boards (AFSB) and candidates who have cleared the AFCAT can now book dates for the next round of exams. According to a report by Indian Express, the cut-off marks for AFCAT 2/ 2017 is 160/ 300 for AFCAT and 60/ 150 for EKT.

Step 1: Log on to the official IAF website – careerairforce.nic.in
Step 2: On the home page, click on “Results AFCAT 2017” tab under the ‘What new’ section
Step 3: New web page will open up with a list of candidates who have cleared the examination. Scroll down the list to check your result
Step 4: Download you results and take a print out of the ame for further reference
The official website also has a note which states that candidates who have appeared for the examination can access the results till October 19, 2017. The first batch of SSB will start from October 30 and the allotment of seats will be on first come first serve basis. Hence, if you want to get AFSB seat of your choice, candidates are advised to choose their Centers at the earliest possible.
