1991 Ford F-350 Dually Is a Little Used Workhorse

Ford F-350

With only 76k miles on the clock and impeccable care, this nicely preserved Ford F-350 has lots of life left.

These days, finding a vintage heavy-duty pickup in decent shape isn’t that easy. Because, well, these trucks were built to work. And most of them have spent their lives doing just that. Typically, these trucks wind up hitting the secondary market with hundreds of thousands of miles, still usable yet cosmetically whipped. But that isn’t the case with this gem of a 1991 Ford F-350 dually we spotted in the Ford Truck Enthusiasts Marketplace.

Despite living in the snowy confines of Minnesota, this beauty is in amazing shape for its age. Mostly because it has only 76k miles on the clock, obviously. But it’s also quite clear that the previous owner cared for this heavy duty hauler more than most work trucks. And with only surface rust underneath that big body, we’re guessing it hasn’t seen to many Midwest winters, either.

This Ford F-350 also sports what is a pretty unusual combo today. Short cab, long bed, and two-wheel drive duallys simply don’t even exist anymore. But we’re digging this one, especially as a clean hauler for one of our vintage rides. With a 460 under the hood and 4.10 gears out back, there’s more than enough grunt to get that job done.

The Lariat trim will get you there in comfort, too. Air conditioning, a tilt wheel, cruise control, and power windows and locks are pretty much the pinnacle of pickup truck luxury in the early ’90s. And with the wiring for a trailer brake controller and 7-way hitch already in place, this Ford F-350 is ready to work. Not to mention ready to rack up some miles after a life of little use!
