This Baby Blue 1979 Ford F-150 Could Be Yours Today!
Trucks are supposed to be tough, reliable, and no non-sense, right? That doesn’t mean that they always have to be painted in tough guy colors, however.
Baby blue for example, isn’t typically a color you would imagine on a lifted, four-wheel drive classic Ford. But hey, it works. This 1979 F-150 looks the part, regardless of its powder-puff paint-job. Sitting up high on solid axles and 315/75-16 tires, it’s no less intimidating than a badass blacked-out truck. The large rolling stock is turned by a Ford 351 V8 block that features aftermarket headers, an Edelbrock carb, MSD ignition, and full dual exhaust. Not so baby now, huh?
This is a nicely optioned truck as well, with power-steering and brakes, dual-fuel tanks, heavy duty tow rear bumper, and an aftermarket stereo system. Inside the truck things are mostly stock with a cloth-covered bench seat, and a dashboard done in a grey/black two-tone.
Regardless of whether you believe that a bright color like this baby blue should be on a truck or not, it’s hard to deny that this ’79 is a real looker. With the black wheels and large rolling stock, we doubt anyone would question your manhood.
