Paint on cab behind tank. Paint on tank. Note 101 rotation number found on multiple places on truck.
exterior of truck was painted a yucky very light green color when I bought it with rainbow 🌈 stripes. Reason I call it Rainbow 🌈 Ranger.

Color can very from camera lighting and settings plus the typical change this site does upon upload.
this is Peacock Blue which in most listings same as Pagoda green.

Why the diamond next to the D?
BTW, My 65 F100 has a Caribbean turquoise cab and a tropical turquoise bed. Primer grey hood but that doesn't count. These are not stock colors, I changed out the bed.
The original literature for 1964 trucks as well as this page dated 7-1-63 in the salesmans catalog doesn't show Pagoda Green as a choice for the 1964 trucks. The Diamond reflects a revision. In this case it was revision 64-3 dated 1-30-64 which dropped Navaho Beige code T as an available color and introduced Pagoda Green code D as an available color for the trucks.

Great info, TA455HO, thanks for sharing! This is the type of info "enthusiasts" can never get enough of. My paint chip book shows Navajo Beige came back again for '65, dropped in '66 and reappeared in '67 and '68 with a new name "pebble beige"

that shows Pagoda green same mix as Peacock Blue. It all gets pretty confusing at times.

it was obvious avail as special order on a ‘66

Ford, Lincoln and Mercury had at times several promotional names for the same paint. This page is specific to the M1638. Looks like Chrysler used the same paint for some of their fleet vehicles in 1983, too. Notice how this site is showing that 1966 Trucks could have come in a Peacock Blue, even though it's not listed as a regular production paint option in any documentation I have so far. Certainly available by special order like you say.

I have a 1964 pagoda green truck. My grandfather bought the truck used sometime in 1965. The truck had one repaint in the early 1970’s by my dad. I remember him telling my grandfather that the paint store said they didn’t have a D paint code listed for 1964 trucks, so the store mixed up some Caribbean turquoise code B. They thought the paint code was stamped wrong on the warranty tag. Of course the truck turned out more green than blue. I will be returning it to its original color. I had been trying to find the original paint code when I found this thread listing the correct color.

Faded pagoda green paint job from early 1970’s.

On the cowl the Caribbean turquoise and on the lower front of the cab the original factory pagoda green.

The charcoal color you see was my brothers attempt to “fix the old truck up” a few years back. I bought the truck from him and now I’m putting everything he discarded back on.
