Fine Example

Long beloved among Ford truck fans, '90s vintage pickups did manage to avoid collector interest for some time. But it looks like those days are over. Lately, we've seen quite a few nice trucks of this vintage selling for big bucks. And that includes this stellar 1995 F-150 that recently crossed the block over at Bring a Trailer.

Perfectly Personified

To us, there's nothing that personifies this era of Ford trucks better than a regular cab, short bed Flareside. And this 26k original mile gem also happens to be a nicely equipped XLT with four-wheel-drive. Toss in the bright red paint, and you've got one irresistible combination.

One Owner

According to the listing, this F-150 also lived its entire life with one owner until it was acquired by the selling dealer in 2019. There's a lot to like about this pickup, including its slew of exterior add-ons including a Lund sun visor, bed rails, and a plastic bed liner. Not to mention those fantastic factory wheels.

Well Equipped

The matching red interior is also in amazing, factory fresh condition. Everything we remember about these pickups is present, including that cloth-covered bench seat, with a few black accents to break up the sea of red. This well-equipped XLT also sports power windows and locks, air conditioning, cruise control, and a cassette stereo.

Unused Appearance

From the looks of things, you wouldn't even think that anyone had ever so much as sat in this pretty pickup. It's just in that kind of premium condition. But the odometer reading doesn't lie, and there's no denying this one hasn't turned over a single time.

Continuing the Theme

That theme continues to the engine bay, where the factory 5.0-liter V8 looks like it was just installed at the factory. The 302's 195 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque may not light your hair on fire by today's standards, but we could care less about trivial things like that in a truck this amazing.

More to Come

Yes, to us at least, '90s Ford trucks don't get any better than this. But we're sure that there are more of them hiding out there in the world, just waiting to be discovered. And when that happens, you can bet we'll be there to bring them to you!
