Undeniable

Few vehicles get Blue Oval enthusiasts' proverbial motors running like a good 1970s Ford pickup, or "Dentside," as they're affectionately known. And truthfully, when you check out this gorgeous 1979 Ford F-150 recently featured at Ford Daily, it's hard to imagine how even fans of those "other" brands could possibly resist at least admitting they like them, either.

Left Alone

For starters, that blue and silver two-tone exterior is nothing short of gorgeous, laid down on perfectly straight bodywork accented by shiny new chrome. The outside of this vintage ride is nothing short of perfection, and in that sense, also completely unmodified, because these trucks were perfect as is in that regard.

Make Room

The suspension, on the other hand, was not left alone, as is often the case with pickups of this vintage. Instead, the owner added a four-inch suspension lift and three-inch body lift to give it a much more menacing stance. That also made room for a set of meaty 35-inch tires as well.

Original Power

In terms of power, this 1979 F-150 4x4 still has its original 400 cubic-inch V8, though there's no word on whether or not it has received any sort of modifications. Generally, that isn't the case, or at least most people don't bother to do more than add an aftermarket intake, carb, and a set of headers with a true dual exhaust to make them sound as good as they look.

New Level

That's pretty much a wrap for this beauty, but honestly, that's all it needs. These trucks were darn near perfect - or arguably perfect - from the factory, and don't really need much other than a little refurbishment to make them shine. But in this case, a couple of simple mods are enough to take this 1979 F-150 to an entirely new level - literally and figuratively.
