Retina Burner

We seek out and drool over our fair share of classic Ford trucks around these parts. But the vast majority of them are painted in what you might call subtle or traditional colors. But that certainly doesn't apply to the retina-burning yellow present on this 1977 Ford F-250 we spotted over at Mecum Auctions, however.

Extroverts Only

Yellow obviously isn't everyone's cup of tea, but then again, some people just don't particularly seek out attention, either. And it'll be hard to blend into the crowd when you're behind the wheel of this bright rig.

Stellar Shape

Still, we're digging this F-250 not just for its unique color choice, but also for its impeccable condition. According to the seller, the truck has received a full frame-off restoration, and it's hard to argue with that given the stellar condition it's in.

All Ford

The sheet metal used in that redo is reportedly all Ford, which is a nice touch. Many of these trucks get rusted out and fitted with tons of body filler or panels of questionable quality, after all.

Fully Dressed

The previous owner/builder of this beauty made the right choice under the hood as well. There you'll find a fully dressed 460 with a modern MSD ignition and what appears to be an aftermarket intake and carb, for starters.

Show Worthy

The super-sanitary engine bay is also painted yellow, as is the block. Loads of shiny parts help provide a perfect contrast in what is truly a show worthy underhood area.

Upgraded Hides

The same goes for the F-250's interior, which has been treated to more yellow paint, tan hides, and lots of matching shiny bits, including the upgraded instrument cluster's surrounding trim piece.

Clean as It Gets

Top to bottom, inside and out, this classic F-250 is as clean as a whistle. So if you're into the color yellow and all the attention it brings, this might just be the perfect truck for you!
