Footprints Dressed in Red

It was 1985 when the more peculiar cross-branding efforts in automotive history took place between outdoor retailer Eddie Bauer and Ford. That was the year the Eddie Bauer trim line on the Ford Bronco was unveiled. While it was considered a risky and somewhat awkward partnership at its unveiling, it went on to be a resounding success, and this 1994 model is an iconic display of Eddie Bauer's style and Ford Bronco off-road capability.

Will the Wind Remember

This ’94 Eddie Bauer Ford Bronco has had only two owners, both of which took impeccable care of this maroon marvel, whose paint job was actually named “Electric Current Red” upon release. In fact, the late-90s model Ford Broncos such as this one are highly sought by both collectors and truck enthusiasts alike thanks to their unique history and classic All-American looks.

Feeling Deluxe

This ’94 Bauer Bronco has just 93,000 original miles, and thanks to storage in a climate-controlled garage, it looks like it just rolled off the lot. The truck’s chrome moldings really shine, particularly where they juxtapose the tan paint of the bottom trim, a color dubbed “Light Santa Fe.” True Eddie Bauer enthusiasts will appreciate the fact that the original, Bauer-branded spare tire cover is still with the vehicle.

Patterns from a Trekker

This particular ’94 Bronco comes complete with the largest engines offered that model year, the 5.8L 351W V8 —completely original and in excellent shape. In fact, the only added mechanical component to the truck is a custom dual exhaust. In addition to an Automatic AODE transmission, the rig also has push-button 4x4 controls which allow drivers to tackle any terrain with relative ease.
