This is a near immaculate, showroom condition example of one of the most sought after Mini’s, we don’t think you would find anything as beuatiful. She is the sought after final edition 1998 Rover Mini Cooper Sports-pack 1.3 MPI 62bhp. Driving beautifully, she is mechanically perfect and ready to enjoy or store as an investment.

Not only is she in showroom condition and one of the most sought after Mini’s but she has an amazing specification also; finished in one of the rarest and most sought after colours (Amaranth Metallic Purple, proper nineties) against the full black leather Cooper interior and Japanese factory fitted air conditioning (not fitted to UK models). This example was imported by the one previous keeper in 2017. She reads 44,000 kilometres (26,000 miles).

Lots of people ask us why the final edition Mini’s (1996-2000) are so sort after. The final edition Mini’s are safer, greener, more reliable, comfier, more secure, less noisy and usually more powerful than all earlier Mini’s. Safer because they have safety crash door bars, air bags and SRS unlike earlier Mini’s. Greener because they have catalytic converters unlike earlier Mini’s. More reliable because they don’t use a distributor or a carburettor like earlier Mini’s and they have upgraded alternators also. Comfier because the whole interior evolved beautifully with burr wood features, nicely constructed seats and alloy fixings. More secure as they have immobilisers and internal bonnet pulls, unlike earlier Mini’s. Less noisy due to revised mechanical positioning, new sound deadening and different gearbox ratios, unlike earlier Mini’s. More powerful generally too as they are fitted with 62bhp 1.3 units as standard.
