2020 Genesis G70 Trims & Configurations
There are 3 trim levels and 5 configurations with the 2020 Genesis G70. You can choose between the 2.0T, 2.0T Sport, and 3.3T. The 2020
Genesis G70 2.0T Sport features a 6-Speed manual transmission. You can
configure the 2.0T and 3.3T Genesis G70 models with AWD if they are equipped with
the automatic transmission.
2020 Genesis G70 Changes & Highlights
The 2020 Genesis G70 doesn't have too many significant
changes. On the mid-range 2.0T Sport trim, you now get a more aggressive brake
system. In addition, 19-inch wheels with all-season tires are now available.
There is also the introduction of the 3.3T Prestige package. On top of the 3.3T
Elite package, this new package adds heads-up display, surround view monitor, Nappa
leather seating surfaces with luxury quilting, and heated rear seats.
2020 Genesis G70 Engine & Performance Specs

There are 2 engine options in the new Genesis G70. The base
2020 Genesis G70 engine features a turbo 2.0L 4-cylinder engine that pumps out
252 horsepower with 260 lb-ft. of torque. There is the option to use a 6-speed manual
on the 2.0T Sport or an 8-speed automatic transmission on all other trims. Next
up, Genesis provides a 3.3L twin-turbo V6 engine that outputs 365 horsepower and
376 lb-ft. of torque. The 3.3L engine comes standard on the 2020 Genesis G70 3.3T
trim.
2020 Genesis G70 RWD/AWD
With the new 2020 Genesis G70, all models come standard with
a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) drive line: Genesis G70 2.0T RWD, Genesis 2.0T Sport
RWD, and Genesis G70 3.3T RWD. You have the option to upgrade to a more capable
all-wheel-drive (AWD) drive line on the models with automatic transmissions:
Genesis G70 2.0T AWD and Genesis G70 3.3T AWD.
2020 Genesis G70 MPG Ratings
In general, the 2.0L engine gets 22 city/30 hwy mpg and the
3.3L engine gets 17 city/26 hwy mpg. The 2020 Genesis G70 2.0T RWD achieves a
fuel economy of 22 city/30 highway whereas the 2020 Genesis 2.0T AWD gets 20
city/27 highway mpg. The 2020 Genesis G70 2.0T Sport 6-speed manual gets the 18
city/28 highway mpg. At the top of the line, the 2020 Genesis G70 3.3T RWD
achieves an mpg rating of 17 city/26 highway but the 2020 Genesis G70 3.3T AWD
gets slightly less at 17 city/25 highway mpg.
