My name is D’Lacy Bass, a sales consultant for Germain Toyota of Columbus. Joining the Germain sales team in March 2023 I’m excited to provide a quality guest experience for all our valued customers. Born and raised in Columbus, OH I attend Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and love all the summer festivals that take place. When I’m not at the dealership I enjoy hanging out with my pup and shopping for plants. If I were to be a fictional character, I would be Hermione Granger, she is very intelligent and a great problem solver while always being humble or Olivia Pope, she was an excellent negotiator and could command a room. NYC has been my favorite vacation escape. I enjoyed not having to drive to get somewhere and there is always something to do. My favorite of the Toyota line production ceased in the 90’s, the Toyota Sunrader. I would love to have one to travel around in. I look forward to meeting you and helping you find your favorite vehicle.

Hi, I’m Chaz Caldwell Sales Consultant for Germain Toyota of Columbus. Joining the Germain team in March 2021 is my introduction to the automotive industry. I’m excited to put my skills to work to help our valued customers find the cars of their dreams while providing a positive and quality guest experience. Being from the Columbus area I’m obviously an Ohio State fan and I love being from the biggest small city. I graduated from Eastmoor Academy and Bowling Green State University. Away from work, I enjoy photography and video editing. I also am a musician, writer, director, editor, and researcher. You might catch me writing sheet music as well. Vacationing in Florida was a favorite of mine for the warm weather, ocean, and overall vibes. I enjoy the Islands also for the secluded feelings and photo opportunities. Of the Toyota line, the Camry is my favorite for the dependability and sporty look.

Born and raised outside of Cleveland, my family relocated to the Columbus area when I started High School, where I attended Watkins Memorial. Being from Cleveland, I am naturally a Browns fan. Away from work, I enjoy staying active, reading, and listening to podcasts. If I could be a fictional character for a day, I would be James Bond. He is always dressed in a nice suit, smooth, and straight to business. Vacations have me escaping to any place with warm weather. My name is Jared Merriman, a Sales Consultant for Germain Toyota. Joining the Germain team in October 2019, I’m looking forward to my new adventure. My prior experience having worked as a detailer in an auto dealership exposed me to many aspects of the business. My goal is to provide a quality experience, having our guests find the car they want or have dreamed of and driving off the lot with a smile on their face. Being from Port Charlette, FL I miss the beach, the weather, and the people. I moved with family to the Columbus area in 2008 and I graduated from Pickerington North HS. When I’m away from the dealership, I enjoy spending time with friends and family. If I were a superhero, I would be Batman. He drives sweet vehicles and possesses no inhuman superpowers. I have never been to Italy but have always wanted to visit and I will someday. Of the Toyota line, my favorite is the Avalon. It offers everything you need and more. My name is Azaz Shafqat, sales consultant for Germain Toyota of Columbus. My career in the automotive industry began in December 2021 and I transitioned to Germain in August 2023. My prior experience in the restaurant industry helped develop my customer service skills, which have only been enhanced over time, as well as attending training seminars on how to provide Excellent Customer Service and Dealing with Angry Customers. Born in Pakistan I was raised in Kuwait, I love the culture and being family-oriented. I relocated to the United States in 2018. When I’m away from the dealership I enjoy grilling, cooking good food, going out, or listening to music by my favorite Pakistani singer and songwriter Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Vacations have me heading home to Pakistan and Kuwait where I grew up and all my people live. Of the Toyota line, the Tundra or Sequoia are my favorite, I’m a fan of big cars. Hello, I’m Joe Kelly New Car Inventory Manager for Germain Toyota of Columbus. My career in the automotive industry began in 2012 joining the Germain team in 2016. Prior to joining the automotive industry, I served our country in the U.S. Airforce. I believe in providing excellent service there is no better guidance than the golden rule, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. I treat my customer’s the way I wish to be treated. Born and raised in Marion, LA. I, of course, am an LSU football fan and love Cajun cuisine. I moved to the Columbus area out of the USAF in 2001. I have two children Jaxson and Madalyn and when I’m not busy with them I try to get in a round or two of golf. My favorite Toyota is the Camry, I’ve owned one since 2002.

Hi, I’m Matthew Troutman, a photographer for Germain Toyota of Columbus. My automotive career began in January 2021, and I transitioned to the Germain team in January 2022. I specialize in design, photography, and marketing, have training and learning through Columbus State Community College, and graduated in Applied Science – Design and Photography. My goal is to be as professional and consistent as possible to provide easy-to-look images of various models of cars for our customers to enjoy looking at while making their decisions on a vehicle. It’s the marketing of the buyer’s journey that I put into consideration for how Germain Toyota’s inventory gets presented. Also showing media on social media networks since that is the new norm now. Born and raised in Iowa I loved the landscape, easy living, and peacefulness of the area. Our family relocated to Ohio 20 years ago, I spent 5 years in Blacklick and moved to Gahanna where I have lived the past 15 years and graduated from Gahanna Lincoln High School. Away from work, I enjoy golfing, working on cars, and collecting tradable cards. If I could be a fictional character for a day, I believe I would be the childhood classic Spiderman. I grew up watching cartoons, and movies and reading comic books. I always felt I could relate to Spiderman and what he did for his neighborhood/community. My favorite vacation escape is in Florida, there is plenty to do as far as tourism, but I also have family there, so it has been my primary vacation spot. The Toyota Camry TRD is my favorite of the line, because of the sporty look and feel it has. I hope you enjoy the photos online and that they assist you in finding your perfect vehicle.
