Aside from these newly added selections, the 2015 Malibu in Lincoln also comes with OnStar with 4G LTE and standard built-in Wi-Fi hotspot. The fresh feature is offered with 3GB and is free for the first three months, allowing drivers to test out its capabilities.

Coming into the new year, the Malibu offers two engine options: a 2.5L iVLC and a 2.0L turbo engine. The former base engine produces 196 horsepower and 186 lb.-ft. of torque, while the latter turbocharged engine delivers 259 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. In order to produce excellent fuel economy, the standard 2.5L IVLC engine also comes with stop/start technology, which shuts down the engine during complete stops when it is not needed. The system is a newly introduced feature on the Chevy lineup and has been beneficial thus far, saving drivers on fuel.
