I'm afraid life isn't that easy... The dashboard is clearly of an ID, and the indicator trumpets à la DS were also used on Belgian built ID's. As this movie is Spanish, I wouldn't be surprised they imported Belgian cars (the ID/DS wasn't built in Vigo, Spain). White paint only came in 1969 on French cars, except the greenish Blac Carrare (1961+) and the greyish Blanc Paros (1962+), but in Belgium a bigger range of colours was available. By the big holes for the (missing) rear reflectors, and no rubber blocs on the rear bumper yet I'd say this is a 1960-192 ID 19. |

Nice sample of 1961 DS 19. Looks Belgian made. |

1961 indeed (small handle under the bootlid button). I don't think it is Belgian, though: those had a rectangular parking light on the B-pillar, not a round one. I couldn't find until when exactly there was a parking light on the DS. Btw, the location is French: La Grande Cascade is a restaurant in Bois de Boulogne, Paris. Coulour must be Rouge Estérel with the roof in Aubergine. |
