Ram trucks have long been known for their durability and performance, appealing to adventure seekers, commercial users, and truck enthusiasts. Ram took things to new heights with the 2025 Ram 1500. Have you watched Ram’s unveiling of this lineup? If not, no worries. We have you covered. We will be taking a look at the brand-new Ram 1500 REV, Ramcharger and the Tungsten trim level. Don’t worry, we will also cover all of the updates and advancements on the classic 2025 Ram 1500s that you know and love. It truly takes the Ram brand to the next level. Let’s dive in!

Ram 1500 REV

After researching and learning from the performance and common concerns of other electric vehicles, Ram has evolved to create a powerful and reliable electric truck. The all-new Ram 1500 REV is built from the frame up to be a battery powered truck. Ram has specifically designed and engineered this vehicle around the battery pack rather than building a truck and placing a battery in it. Ram boasts that this is the best electric truck in the industry – will you give it a try?

The REV has two 250kW (kilowatt) electric drive modules – one in the front and one in the back – to increase efficiency and allow the front wheels to spin freely. This module combines the motor, gearbox, and inverter to provide all-wheel drive capability.

  • 654 Horsepower
  • 620 pound-feet of torque
  • 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds

Although the Ram 1500 REV is a completely electric truck, it does not falter with the level of power. In fact, it exceeds other models, ensuring you are able to tow your boat, camper, or other toys, and trust it on the job site. By being an electric vehicle, Ram was able to add quite a few neat features to this truck. In the bed of the truck, there are two standard outlets that you can use to charge your power tools, electronics, or whatever you need to charge. It can even be a backup power source for your house! On the inside of the truck, the infotainment center will tell you all you need to know about charging, including range, power flow, charge level and recommendation, and it even allows you to pay when plugged into a public charger. Ram 1500 Ramcharger

The Ramcharger is back! Although the previous Ramcharger was well-loved while it was in production, the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger is a true innovation in its class. Ram has created this truck to soothe skeptic’s concerns surrounding battery powered vehicles, specifically focused on power and range. The Ramcharger has a 92 kW battery and a 130 kW gas-powered generator that works as a built in charging system. It charges while you drive, offering an unheard-of 690-mile range (1). This hybrid approach allows range anxiety to be addressed and consumers to slowly dip their feet into the electric vehicle world.

663 Horsepower

615 pound-feet of torque

0-60 in 4.4 seconds

This truck has the capability to pull more than 7 tons, ensuring that you have the power to haul whatever you need for work or play. It pushes boundaries both in capabilities and exterior. Although redesigned, the Ramcharger offers the sleek, sophisticated look that you have come to expect from a Ram. Tungsten Trim Level

The all-new Tungsten trim level is taking the Limited trim level’s place as the top trim available on Rams. Although Ram is adding a new trim, they are not taking any existing trim levels away, so you can find exactly what you are looking for. The Tungsten is the most technologically advanced Ram 1500 ever and provides a premium experience, both inside and out.

Exterior:

The Tungsten trim features a redesigned full front fascia with a grille pattern that is completely unique to what you have seen before from Ram. The truck also welcomes you when you approach with a walk-up animation. The LED front headlights animate, which is customizable, and there is an exterior light carpet that proudly displays “RAM” as you walk up to the door. The Ram 1500 Tungsten also comes with 22-inch aluminum wheels and “RAM” rear badging and taillamps.

Interior:

You won’t ever want to get out of this truck! The premium leather power front seats have heating, cooling, memory, and even massage functionality. Your ability to fully customize the seats to how they best suit you will ensure comfort is never a concern. On the dashboard, the Tungsten features real wood and carbon fiber accents. It also comes with a 23-speaker Klipsch® Reference Premiere Audio System – The Most Powerful Available Audio System in Its Class (2). You will hear (and feel) your favorite songs with clarity with this exceptional sound system. The new Tungsten trim level is luxury redefined and we cannot wait to start seeing them on the showroom at Jeff Belzer’s in Lakeville, New Prague, and Roseville.

Engines

We know you have heard that Ram is no longer making the HEMI engine for its 2025 lineup. And yes, it is true. However, the new 3.0L Hurricane I6 engine will take its place for even more power and a better fuel economy. We understand the reluctance to accept this new engine; we all love the HEMI, but let’s dig into the Hurricane and see how it compares.

There will be a standard and high-output option of the Hurricane engine. Let’s look at them side-by-side:

High-Output

  • 540 max horsepower
  • 521 max pound-feet of torque
  • 10,740 max pounds towing capacity
  • 1,370 pounds max payload

Standard Output

  • 420 max horsepower
  • 469 max pound-feet of torque
  • 11,560 max pounds towing capacity
  • 1,910 max pounds payload

As you can see, the high output offers 120 more horsepower and 52 more pound-feet of torque than the standard. However, the high output does not have as high towing or payload capacity. Comparing the high output Hurricane to the HEMI, the Hurricane boasts 145 more horsepower and 110 more pound-feet of torque than the HEMI engine. Will you give this new engine a try? Along with the Hurricane engine, there is also the 3.6 L Pentastar® V6 engine with eTorque that will be used in the 2025 Ram 1500 lineup. This engine is capable to 305 max horsepower, 269 max pound-feet of torque, 8,100 max pounds of towing capacity, and 2,300 max pounds of payload.

Technology

The 2025 Ram 1500 lineup is the most technologically advanced yet. They will come standard with features like heads up display, trailer auto hitch assist, five drive modes, and hands-free driving assist. You can even use your phones as your keys! There is also an automated parking system to make parallel parking, or any type of parking, a breeze. Ram also did not skimp out on the screens. There is a 12-inch driver information display, a vast 14.5-inch Uconnect® touchscreen, and a 10.25-inch Passenger Interactive Display screen, allowing your passenger to watch a movie, control the music and more. This is all possible with the driver not being able to view this screen on the passenger’s side for safety. Speaking of safety, this 2025 lineup comes standard with some incredible safety features.

  • Intersection Collision Assist System (3): This safety system sounds when danger of a collision is detected. It deploys auto emergency braking as well, if necessary.
  • Evasive Steer Assist (4): If the Forward Collision Warning System alerts of a frontal collision and the driver makes an evasive steering maneuver to a clear lane, the system will assist the driver with that maneuver.
  • Drowsy Driver Detection (5): If the system detects a drowsy driver (through crossing over road lines, etc), the vehicle will alert the driver through the information display, both visually and audibly.
  • Traffic Sign Recognition (6): Your truck will detect road signs, such as speed limits signs, school zones, and more, and display them on the drive information screen.

Technology and safety features are more advanced than ever, ensuring that you have a capable and reliable ride wherever you go. The last major update in 2025 is the addition of the RHO. When Ram announced that 2024 was the last production year of the TRX, there were concerns that there would be a lack of a high-performance, off-road option. This is where the RHO comes in. It will come with the high output Hurricane engine and feature a similar bolstered exterior. There is little information out surrounding the RHO but Jeff Belzer’s will be sure to keep you informed as we get updates.

The 2025 Ram 1500 lineup is guaranteed to turn heads with the addition of the REV, Ramcharger, RHO, and the Tungsten trim level. Ram aims to create a revolution and a new standard for what electric vehicles are capable of with the addition of the high-performing electric and hybrid trucks. However, the power and strength that is synonymous will not be lost with the creation of the Hurricane engine and RHO. The Tungsten trim along with the new features ensure that you will experience a luxurious, comfortable ride. Whether you are working, playing, or simply commuting, Ram has what you need. At Jeff Belzer’s, located in Lakeville, New Prague, and Roseville, we want to get you into the truck that is right for you, so don’t hesitate to come in and test drive something new. Our team will make sure that you stay informed on all updates surrounding the 2025 Ram 1500, so follow us on Facebook and Instagram, or contact our team today.
